Just one last question for the night, I know I can get the screen size using GetSystemMetrics(SM_CXSCREEN) and GetSystemMetrics(SM_CYSCREEN), however this doesnt take into acount the task bar at the bottom of the windows screen. This si fine as long as the user only has the task bar one level high as I can compensate, however its when its higher I have a problem, so does anyone know how I can find the screen size between the top and the task bar or how many levels the user has the task bar on? msdn has plenty of docs on this, just look up the getsystemmetrics functiona nd it lists all the metrics you could want. Including the size of a maxmized window (so you dont need to know the task bar size). you can also get the taskbar position (which side its on), as well as window border size, caption size, menu size, etc.
