Isn''t the function ID3DXSprite::OnLostDevice() supposed to release all references to video memory the instance may have? I thought it was but when I call that function it doesn''t release it''s references to the IDirect3DDevice instance. The means that the references are not properly cleaned up and the dx common files don''t like that (it results in an error, making it impossible to change the screen resolution). I checked the reference count of IDirect3DDevice before, and after the call to OnLostDevice but the reference count didn''t change. Does someone know why this happens? Is there something that I have misunderstood? Thanks
