About Luminaire 3DS Plugin & OpenGL

Hi all. I''m working with the Luminaire (www.maxshade.com) plugin and 3D Studio max. I use this one to make the lightmaps textures of my scene but I have one problem: If I make a cube and I render the lightmaps the plugin return me 6 material (one for each face) and I don''t know how I can convert this 6 into one. Must I convert this one into one alone or by the way I must use this other six with other "tricks". It''s better than I make a lightmap generator with code into my engine? Thank to all
