Unfortunately there is a slight problem, every time a user touches the display it unhides the nav bar as described here: http://developer.android.com/training/system-ui/navigation.html they say to use a listener to reset it each time it changes but that isn't possible for me. I tried calling it on each motion event but it crashes on me; I don't really know enough to get it to function as I wanted (yet).
