String Tables
I''m currently working on a game right now using VC++ 6. In one part of the game I need have access a list of strings. The point is to more or less display a play by play type thing on the screen. My first thought was just make a function that consists of one big switch statement, but then I came across the idea of a string table created as a resource.
I guess my question then is... Can anyone give me any info on string table resources? I''ll be honest I don''t know much about them. Are they useful? A waste of time? Complex? Simple?
