i did notice one thing i did wrong with the command line:

bcc32 -w- -tW -I"c:\mycode\directx\Dxf\include";"c:\mycode\freebcc\include" -L"c:\mycode\directx\Dxf\lib\borland";"c:\mycode\freebcc\Lib" myprog.cc

i had the "borland" directory in the wrong place. (directX SDK did come with borland specific libraries).

although fixing that didnt help compile.

here are the errors im getting...

C:\mycode\test>bcc32 -w- -tW -I"c:\mycode\directx\Dxf\include";"c:\mycode\freebcc\include" -L"c:\mycode\directx\Dxf\lib\borland";"c:\mycode\freebcc\Lib" test03.cc
