Hi gamedev forum!
I recently convinced myself that I wanted to create a game and delved right into it.
I started working on a retro sidescroller game about a robot that attempts his escape from an underground laboratory.
A bit of work in, I was wondering how the way I was doing things would appeal to others.
And thus this topic, what are your honest opinions about the game thusfar?

One thing I urgently want to change is the graphics, but unfortunately I'm no good at 2d graphics (or 3d for that matter) Practise makes perfect I suppose? [recruitment wording deleted by moderator]

Normally, people don't download random .exe's posted on forums by new community members, for fear of viruses and such (and saying, "I promise it's not a virus" is not convincing enough).

You can help by posting several actual screenshots. Just some advice! smile.png

I'm not downloading the .exe even if you did add screenshots, but different people have different thresholds, and getting people to play your game is often about reducing friction.
