anyone have experience with the IDirectXFile interfaces... I''m trying to write a class to load my objects using the IDirectXFile interfaces and having more headaches learning this interface than anything. once i do a GetType are there some utility functions to interpret the guid to find out what type it is?

thanks! i think that''s the first article that loooks really helpful to me. Let me see where i can get. Is there a better
way to identify the GUID''s more inversally than having to look
them up in the header file.

Also has anyone had any experience writing exporters for
maya or truespace? That is theprogram of choice for my modelers,
but i''m wanting to write a custom file format but i haven''t had a
chance to play with the SDk and i haven''t found any great examples to get me started quickly.
