Hi! We've just announced Book of Demons, a paper style hack & slash that mixes old with new, tribute with parody. We've been working on the game for about 4 years now and it's very exciting to finally show what we've been working on to the world. Since our previous games were much smaller casual hidden-object and match-3 titles, Book of Demons is a hardcore game with a casual soul. Or maybe the other way round? smile.png

Here is the announcement trailer that features first footage from the actual gameplay:

And here are some screenshots from the game:

Key Book of Demons features:

  • Paper cut-out graphics
  • Upgradable card system that unifies items, spells, and skills
  • Unique movement and fighting system for more strategic gameplay
  • Flexiscope™ system that adjusts sessions size to players’ liking
  • Endless end-game mode with 100+ challenges
  • First truly accessible hack & slash
  • Randomized dungeons
  • Single-player campaign with 3 character classes
  • 60+ different monster types
  • Lots of humor

There is more info about the game, and we're doing pre-orders at a promo price on the official website (via Humble Store Widget):

The game will be released on Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/449970/) in the second half of this year. We got accepted without having to go through Greenlight, so kudos to Valve clear.png

So, what do you think? I hope you like it.
