how accurate is this wiki info about graphics?

Well it does have [citation needed] because that sounds like someone's opinion and not an encyclopedic fact.

But in my experience, yes, it's hard to find (good) Graphics Programmers. When I quit my last job as one, it took that company about 3 years to fill my old job. I get quite a lot of recruiters on LinkedIn spamming me with information about Graphics Programming jobs with very good salaries being offered, which also indicates it's a rare / senior position.

I'd say that most specialist roles are rare, when compared to generalist roles... otherwise they wouldn't be very good specialists laugh.png
