Two sensible options.

1) Use Texture Arrays (Texture2DArray in HLSL). Each instance can then index into this array and read from a different slice in the array. The restriction of a Texture Array is that each 'slice' in the array must be the same size and format as every other slice. If those two restrictions are fine then this is the best approach.

2) Combine your textures into a single Texture Atlas. Each instance can then adjust its texture coordinates to read from a different subsection of the texture.

"elements" :)
