Hi. Anyone ever seen a .mod or .xm replayer in pure java? I havn't. I would not be surprised if it's impossible with java 1.1 for browsers, but can it be done? I assume "yes" since people write emulators for java, mixing the sound away, Shouldn't we put our heads togheter and make something like it, for the good of the java gaming community then? / dr-m Edited by - dr-m on November 19, 2001 4:36:05 PM

There are already mod/xm players on the web available. Both for 1.1 and 1.3. I thought the 1.3 version was better quality, but because 1.1 works on all browsers (1.1.8 / applet) it might be nice to use that for some purposes.
