As we know, most of the games general tmp and persistent data on running. My question is that it's quite easy to mistakenly delete those data when managing the device with apps such as AirDroid. Is there any way to recover game data in such case? or just store the data on cloud?

Did you try some Android data recovery programs? maybe it works for you, but I should remind you that stop using your Android phone in case the "deleted data" was covered by new data, if that's the truth, you will lost your data forever.

Is it possible? Yes, on some devices it may be possible.

It may not be easy, it isn't directly supported, and there are many devices where it won't work. The design of many persistent storage chips these days doesn't work in a way that is friendly to the magnetic storage or optical storage recovery techniques, and some hardware will not surrender the old data no matter how hard you try. Other hardware will gladly restore deleted data if the software invokes the right commands.

If you are looking for your purposes of security, know that people can get around it. There are many ways to do so, including using emulators and custom hardware, so it is not secure.

If you are looking because you accidentally lost your game data, sorry for your loss, I recommend frequent backups.

Tried a few of free ones, but didn't work. Any recommendation?

You can google it and find many Android data recovery programs like Mobiledic, aisesoft, Androidphonesoft, Dr.fone.

but most of them are not free:

I didn't test them, hope it helps you!

Skip Aisesoft, it can't recover data at all. I tested it a few months ago.

To recover android phone data, we can use an android data recovery app to help. The data on your phone were not really deleted, we can still recover them before they were overwritten by new data. And we should have a habit of backuping android phone data to computer in case we deleted important on the phone.
