Sprite position (x, y)

Is it wise to use the sprite''s image top/left as it''s y/x or is it better to use the mid point(x = (left + width)/2; y = (top + height)/2) ???

That depends on your needs. The easiest would be to change the left/top values. Collision detection on left and top image borders can be made. Add width/height and you''ve got the other borders. If you use the midpoint, you have to add/sub half the properties to retrieve sprite borders...

But remember, it depends on your needs.
