Can there be multiple separate functions invoked for an event on a DOM object in Javascript?

In other words, can you add multiple functions to an event property, or by addeventlistener, or by whatever, onto the same DOM object?

Sure you can. What is the context of your question?

ele.addEventListener("click", function1, false);
ele.addEventListener("click", function2, false);

Completely legal.

Or if you want, declare a function that is called, that calls multiple other functions.
