I, I want to Blit texture in other texture ( with stretching etc.. ) with Dx8 like Dx7 Blt and BltFast. I use D3DXLoadSurfaceFromSurface, both this function is very slow ( equivalent to software ..! ). I like to know alternative to do this ( equivalent to Dx7 Blt performance )... thanks. D3DXLoadSurfaceFromSurface might be slow because it does checking for color conversion. If you know the surfaces have the same format, then just IDirect3DSurface8::LockRect and copy them line by line for a standard blt. If you want to scale or use alpha, then consider changing the render target to the target surface and rendering a quad textured with the source surface. see D3DXCreateRenderToSurface
