One step at a time.

Game development is hard.

There is no tutorial or step-by-step guide to making a successful game, in any editor or language.

There's also the issue of defining "successful". Released? Sold 10 copies? 100? 1 million?

Hello to all my stalkers.

Sacrifice a goat to great lorde Odin.

If the young man in your profile picture is you, I would advise you to state your age when you post on forums like this to ask for advice. This will allow people to help you better. Maybe start with following some video tutorials for UE4 until you get used to it, then start with a simple idea and try to implement it from what you've learned from the videos. The reason you should start with something simple is because you need to gain experience before you start with something big. That experience will allow you to know which ideas are possible for you to turn into a game and which are too complex for a single guy to implement in a reasonable amount of time.

Blood sweat and tears. A lot of tears.

And a lot of sweat.

And blood. A lot of that too.

Seriously though, following a tutorial or 10 as suggested will give you a much better idea of what you're up against.
