Small indie dev Tigris Games is hosting a gamedev group chat on Skype.

This link opens in-cloud / Skype client: https://join.skype.com/Bl5BNT1ujtQ7 (old link, same place)

We also have member list in our public, editable Google+ document:

Meet others here: http://tinyurl.com/j88332x

Who is this for?

* meet other game developers for networking

* WIP screenshots on your current projects

* Steam Green Light and KickStarter projects are welcome

* promoting your Twitch channel, game demos  or published work.

* Hosted and moderated 24/7

* all experience levels are welcome

___

We're all just a bunch of friendly game devs, and quite a few regulars who like to share our gamedev work and encourage each other to make games

Who is this for? Most of us are pretty much indies who are into following aspects of game dev:

* C#, C++

* Unity and UE game development

* 3D modeling (blender, maya, zbruåsh)

* opengl/c++ programmers

* voice acting (actors and actresses)

* show us your Green Light game, and we'll think about yes-voting it.

* primarily, it's about game development, promoting and sharing your work, and experience.

What to expect?

* indiedev banter

* inspire gamedevs by showing your work or be inspired by others

* share your current creation, art, screenshots

* meet other dedicated indies, we're all here literally making games 24/7

* share your green light game

* exchange marketing experience

We hope to see you there!

If you are a game developer. If you're working on a game now, you're welcome to stop by to meet other indies and talk about game development.

We have a group of serious game devvers who are there every day, sharing screenshots and engaged in fun discussions on crafting, art and promotion.

Oh, also... One of our members has developed a game Ultimate Solid and I playthrough'ed it on our channel. The footage helped to advertise the game!

If you have a game you're working on, just mention it in our chat either on Discord in #playthrough or on Skype cloud (no account required)

We're looking for games that are at least 75% finished, in order to qualify for a playthrough. Your game will be aired on Tigris Plays YouTube and Twitch.tv

We're also looking for more game developers who are currently working on a game.

Please don't repeatedly bump your posts. If you're interested in continued visibility on your group you might consider posting to a developer journal (maybe summarizing the highlights of that week's discussion to try to engage new members) or talking with the staff about possible collaborations.

Thanks, that's the message I needed to hear. I'll contact the staff.

It's hard to write a post to not sound like another dull advertisement when you want to recommend something ;). But I really do recommend joining Tigris group to any game developer, and epecially to solo (or small group) game devs as myself.

We - game developers - are pretty rare comparing to other professions. And usually it's hard to find someone with the same interest to talk about game dev, get some valuable feedback of your work etc. Such groups like Tigris dev where you can talk to other guys of the same profession in real time, really help a lot.

So to not make a long post, just wanted to say that I joined this group few weeks ago and clicking that join link was one of the best decision in my game dev adventure. Many people of various interests, using various engines, having different taste, but all very friendly and helpful. Those guys helped me tweak up my curret projet a lot, I mean a LOT. I'm really grateful and having great time with those guys every day now ;)

So jump in guys, we welcome new people every day and it's awesome seeing upcomming projects, WIP of devs and artists before they get it published anywhere :)
