i have read the tutorial about the particle system on Nehe.it shows a way:we can use the quad and a particle texture to make a vivid particle effects.but as u can c,it''s a 2d program,i don''t know how to show them in a 3d world.u know,if we move the camera,and we will the truth:some textured quads.so if there r some solutions to make a 3d particle system,chage the quads when we move the camera?i don''t know exactly... if some one can give a solution:use the verteces instead of the textured quads.is this better? thank u. jerry2 Programming,make a whole new world.

u mean rotate the quads and make the normals towards the camera?
is this solution too ... banal,maybe...
