Hi, everyone.

I want to introduce our project T.MIN [ti?mi?n]. We are working on it some time. It is still in early stage but we’d like to make it more public now. We hope to get feedback to understand if we are moving in the right direction.

About project. We want to create VR environment where you can control everything by common gestures and it does not matter what helmet or gesture tracking system you use. We intend to support popular helmets and gesture tracking system both optical (like Leap Motion) and physical like Manus VR)).

We want to create the VR environment where you don’t need for monitor. You’ll get 3D space immediately after loading. You will be able to install and run any apps work and entertainment.

Also we believe our VR environment will become a platform for game developers. They will not need to learn a lot of SDK for supporting different HMD and gesture tracking systems.

We are developing video player with gesture control as a demo prototype. It will be a sample of our vision of VR.

Later we plan to start crowdfunding to accelerate developing. If you are interested in our project you can subscribe to our news here We’ll anounce campaign starting by mailing.

Below you can see prototype video. Video file outputs on flat surface in 3D. We can move, resize and rotate the surface.

Good news, we are alive.

Early our video shows only playing video in 3D.

But now we have embryo of video player.

We added some features:

  • video selection panel with icons;
  • time indicator with video duration and current position (with some bugs);
  • buttons for moving between selection panel and video panel;
  • sound playback.

Also there are small improvements:

  • font smoothing;

  • skybox (We know it’s not very good. We’ll appreciate for site with  beautiful skybox textures).

We plan to open pre-order for our video player. Subscribe to our pre-crowdfunding page: https://goo.gl/9nKusJ
