Hey Fellow Developers!

We just launched our Steam page for our superhero virtual reality game called First Impact: Rise of a Hero. It's a game that we started working on in February of this year and we've been working on it for about 6 - 8 months (worked on another project during the summer). We decided to try to create a longer form of content than what you can currently find on the VR stores. This is not a tech demo, we are aiming to create one of the first real RPGs in VR. The basic premise is that you get struck by a meteor and somehow managed to survive. In the process, you are imbued with powers over the four elements and you can do cool things like fly, super jump and teleport.

We want players to have the freedom to decide how they will explore the game world by giving them real locomotion using the touch pads of the HTC Vive controllers and the analog sticks on the Oculus Touch. Players can also stick to teleportation if they prefer that method and we have some other techniques implemented to reduce, if not eliminate simulator sickness. If you are interested in know more I have left some of the appropriate links at the bottom of this message. We'd be happy to hear your thoughts on the project and good luck to you all in your game endeavors as well!
