I'm a C# software developer and I'm looking to start game development using Unity. I'm trying to get my feet wet with the Unity game engine before I decide what type of game I want to develop. I'll probably start small and build from there. Just curious if anyone has created a game for either Xbox One or PS4 using Unity and how long did it take? How many people did you have working on the game?
Thanks everyone!
Andrew
Why are you so focused on Xbone or PS4?
Do you have a licence to develop for those platforms.
If you are just after an idea of what ps4 / bone games have already been created then this page allows you to filter by platform:

Also what is your definition of a "small game"?
A simple basic version of Tetris, Breakout, Space Invaders or Flappy Bird could be accomplished in Unity in a few hours to a weekend depending on your abilities. The games on Unitys page will have taken much longer than this because of all the creative Juice that went into making them.
If you want to add all the bits of "Juice" to make it a game that people might actually want to play then it will increase to maybe weeks or months depending on how many ideas you have and how many assets you need to create.
Awesome thanks for the Unity link to the showcase of apps! I love Ori and the Blind Forest. Yeah I used to play Flappy Bird quite a bit so that would be something size wise I would strive for starting out. Even to build a simple level for Flappy Bird would be a good start for me. Also I'm not apposed to other platforms like moble and pc I was just curious about Xbox One and PS4 more than anything. I would most likely start off by releasing a small game on android and windows 10.
