When finding loops in my mesh,

I find the total of exterior angles of hollow loops and non-hollow loops the same....

that is, if for example, edge1 and edge2 form a 90 degrees angle, the dot product is 1.57

and 4 edges go around a square shape, the sum is 6.28 which is fine...

But there is no difference in hollow and non-hollow loops, they are both 6.28

How do I classify in both situations if the total is the same, how I can separate hollow loops and non-hollow ones?

Thanks

Jack

A couple of pictures would help us understand what you are trying to do; or at least two lists of coordinates.
