Hi there! I'm an experienced composer, sound designer & sound engineer (mixing/mastering) with twenty years of experience that's looking for a fun side-project with potential. I currently work as a programmer/sound designer at a digital marketing agency and do a lot of music & sound for video productions, but I'm really interested in working with more interactive sound systems like game audio. I've worked professionally as a programmer for 17 years, focusing on C# for the past 15 years and I have a couple of years experience with Unity, so If you're using Unity I can help implement the audio system into your game as well.

Anyways, here are some links:

Soundcloud with some outlines for game ideas:

Spotify (some stuff with my current band)

iTunes (same as above if you don't have access to Spotify)

Some YouTube stuff:

If your project looks interesting I'm not looking to get paid, but a relevant share of revenue when the project goes on sale is of course appriciated!

I just signed up here to post a similar post to yours. I mean there must be developers out there who want music even if only for a hobby project.

Have you not gotten a single reply? Your music is really good too. I don't get it there seems to be no activity on these boards at all.

I'm not sure my project will be up to your interests, but you mentioned programming experience so I have to try. I haven't yet posted my updated project, but I am looking for a dev and I still need some audio, mostly the death sounds, but not much. The current sound guy isn't around much.

However, if you want to help close a game that is nearing completion and work closely on the project, here's my latest dev log. I'll be creating a much more detailed post soon.

I can't access Spotify and iTunes doesn't seem to have a way to preview it, but the YouTube stuff was very good.

Hi there thiama!

I've gotten a couple of responses as private messages, and one open comment that was posted after your comment.

Like you say, getting a gig as a composer is not the easiest of things. First off there are MANY composer available per active project and secondly, many projects are unfortunately terminated before they reach the stage where they actually need a composer.

The best thing to do is to advertise your services on multiple sites and try to get a more or less cohesive style. Every composer has his or hers specialities, and in my opinion it's better to show these off than to try to go for a very broad approach and be not as good at it!

Tidyui, I take it you are not interested?
Hi there Enduinn!

I'm currently not interested in a development role, but I hope you find someone to help you complete your project!
