C# SharpDX why Direct3D11 has no interoperablity with Direct2D ?

I am using Direct3d11 and when I want to mix it with direct2d I face with error. I got that it has no support for 11 but why ? Am I missing something ? or Is there any simple trick to use it directly over 11 without 10 ?
