Help For a Farming Simulator Game Read For Details

Hello, I am creating a farming simulating game. I can't pay, but if any money is made I'll share the funds. The game is called, The Stockman. I don't have much of a story, except you are fleeing your corrupt government looking for a new home on a frontier in a fantasy world full of mythical beings. I am working on this in my free time, and this project isn't to serious, meaning I don't want to make a living off of it. So, the finished project is going to cost 15 US dollars. I am currently working on animal models, and I'm very new to game development. So, if I'm struggling to work on something pacific, that's why. I am using the free version of unity and blender. Also, if you have character ideas, I'm willing to listen to that to.

The world I'm hoping is going to be randomly generated, except for the shopping district. The shopping district will have preplaced rundown buildings. Think of mainstreet from animal crossing, but as a ghost town. The buildings will be fixed up by characters as they move in. They will move in as the story progresses. In the world there is going to be crossroads, one leading to your farm ,the other the town. The town will be much smaller than the farm. and both the farm and town will be able to be customized and randomly generated. There will be in both rivers where you can catch fish, trees and other plants. Things you can forrage such as mushrooms and bugs will also be in both. There will also be an underground further in development, where the player can mine for resorces.

There will be a crafting table where you can make your nessesities. The player can make things like butter and cheese makers, cloth spindles, seed makers, and tools. However in order to build buildings for the farm and town such as houses, there will be placeable item, that'll mark the area. The area will need the nesserary items in order to make a building, such as wood, stone, and tools like hammers and saws.

Livestock and crops can be bought in multiple places. In the general store. There will be seeds of common well known crops such as tomatoes and corn, and an order form for well known livestock breeds such as holstein cows and leghorn chickens. But every month there will be a bazzar from people all over the fictional world. Who bring in exotic crops and livestock, as well as strange animals you can have as pets, and other special objects. The farming will be pretty basic in early stages. As you plow a field for crops and water in every day. And you feed livestock to get their products. However, as development goes on, there will be preadators that'll kill your animals. And birds that'll destroy crops. Crops will also have quality which can be boost up with fertiler. And livestock will have not only affection, but personalities that'll affect how they behave. For example a friendly animal will follow the character around.

That's pretty much the basics of the game. Of coarse they'll be more features. But this is everyhing that'll be in the playable parts of the game first. There is a discord you can join to follow up on the games  progress. https://discord.gg/AyubGCg

So you're looking for a story, characters and a bit more detailed setting based on your initial idea. Is that correct? You said, it's a farming simulator. So what about, building or item descriptions? What about GUI elements? 

Are you planning to publish the thing one day? Will it be free-to-play or what's gonna be your model?

Oh yeah sorry. I'll update the description soon to make it more detailed. Thanks a bunch for the advice. :)

I see, you updated your post. It's become a huge one now but the thing has become much more interesting. I still don't quite get, what you're actually looking for, though.

Anyway, I see some story potential in the government fleeing, the foreign world, the ghost towns and so on. Sounds a bit too large for a one-man-show but if you can tell me what exactly you need in a bit more detail, I might be interested in helping you out with that. Or it it really just "characters" you need? I can image, you will also require GUI labels, some more story, etc.?
