ShowCursor()

I am drawing just one quad and when i use ShowCursor(false) in both fullscreen and windowed mode my fps goes from 500 to 199? why?

I don''t know, but 500fps or 200fps makes no difference at all.

Are you sure you don''t call ShowCursor(FALSE) inside your rendering loop?

Im not sure why it does that.
Sometimes i run the program and it runs faster, others very very slow, but without recompiling or anything. I think it has something to do with Windows because when my program runs slow I cant connect to anything on the internet (with cable modem) and as soon as I can connect to web pages again the program runs fast.

???

I've found other things like that before.
For example:
On some systems. Changing the title bar text causes the system to wait till the end of the v-sync cycle. This causes the program to get locked to a max fps of the monitors refresh rate. It could verywell be in your video device drivers.
