Hi, I am new here and I need help to figure out the formula based on the stat table below.

LEVEL STAT1 STAT2 STAT3 1 12 24 60 2 12 24 62 3 12 25 64 4 13 27 68 5 14 29 72 6 15 31 78 7 16 33 84 8 18 36 92 9 20 40 100 10 22 44 110 11 24 48 120 12 26 52 132 13 28 57 144 14 31 63 158 15 34 69 173 … … … … 50 262 524 1310 100 1012 2025 5063

Compare line 1 and 11. The ratios between stat 1, 2 and 3 seem to stay the same. 1 is 1/5 of 3 and 2 is 2/5 of 3. Now look at how stat 3 progresses. The first two steps differ by 2, the next two by 4, the next two by 6, then 8, 10 etc. So the difference is increased by 2 every 2 steps. Now knowing how to calc stat 3 you can calculate the others with the ratios. You just need to figure out how the values were rounded (round, ceil or floor). I am too lazy to check that.

Greetings

Edit: Line 15 shows that the difference is not always increased by 2... maybe a little bit more date is needed to find its pattern

I can see the patterns. However may I ask if this is homework?

Important question. I totally forgot to ask, why the formula is needed. xD

Hahaha. I am too old for homeworks. I am playing this game and It lacks of explanation which is driving me nuts

Which game do you mean?

It's an RPG game called Legend

I quickly plotted the graphs in Google Sheets and it seems that they are just quadratic functions.
So each stat should then be in the form

stat = base + level2 / n

I'll leave it up to you to calculate if my theory is correct :)

What makes you believe there's a formula at all? It's not at all uncommon for games, especially of that era, to just have a table of stat value by level, with the values in the table decided by designer whim as much as anything else..

Thanks @Prototype Does 'n' refer to Level because I couldn't figure out.

@Anthony Serrano There must be a formula for stat growth in every RPG game.
