DX bitmap rotation

Are you putting the bitmap(texture) onto a polygon for instance ? If so just use an affinite matrix which takes in the translation and rotation for the view matrix (world space to camera space.

steg, I think he meant 2D, not 3D. If thats the case then either you can use ddraws rotation in the blit function (which isn''t always supported so it may not work on your system or any system you want to use this on), or you have to do it yourself. That means you take each pixel, find out its new position using a rotation algorithm and then placing it. Be warned though that this is slow in real time.
