d3dxintersect ?

hello, have anybody out there experience with the command d3dxintersect ? it seems to me an interesting way of implementing a collision detection. I would like to use it to make a character walking over a rough terrain. thanx webmaster@gotec.org

D3DXIntersect() just test if a ray intersects a polygon/mesh. I would rather use this function for picking, not collision detection. For collision detection you need to check if one polygon or mesh intersects another one. This involves a triangle to triangle- or a point to triangle test not a ray intersection.
