who you set up the allegro 4.0 for MSVC++ 6.0 I follow the instructions but I cant set the microsoft visual c++ 6.0 enviroment (says out of enviroment space) Anyway to simply copy files into the correct /include and /lib directories ?

There is no binary release yet, but if you follow the instructions for Method B it''s quite simple:


Just download the complete source (it''s handy to have anyway), and then download the prebuilt DLLs. Extract them both to the same folder, click on "makemsvc.bat" and you''re all set.

Regarding your "Out of environment space" error - that''s covered in the FAQ. Basically what you would need to do is edit the .PIF to your DOS prompt, giving yourself more memory then the default.
