tiling textures in direct3d8

howdy all, is there a simple way to tile a texture in direct3d 8? Say on a quadrilateral defined by 4 vertices (drawn as a triangle strip). Or do you have to specify the extra vertices and calculate texture coordinates etc? any help would be great. thanks Toby

use texture coordinates that are greater than 1
