Please Help with palette

Erg I have to figure out how to do use Palettes under Direct3d 8, I have a texture loaded sepcefied it as D3DFMT_A8P8, and gotten the PALETTEENTRY structure back, but no changes on the structure affect the colors at all when the texture is drawn... please help me out here people.

You''ll need to call IDirect3DDevice8::SetPaletteEntries() to make sure D3D and the hardware updates its internal palette.

And also check the caps to ensure your driver/card combination actually supports palettised textures!.
