I am currently working on writing the Movie Player/Manager for my game and I want to parse the file (none of the video players I have found, have what I need (cross platform) for the right price) and I haven''t been able to find any good resources for the mpeg-4 file format (I''ve tried a bunch of sites (wotsit, etc). I am new to video and I all I really need is a simple spec stating which byte(s) of the file are which values for rendering (I dont even care about most of the file, all I need is a play command, and a go to the end). Any help would be great, thx. 1 more thing... I am not really locked down to the mpeg-4 format, I just was reading that it is the best quality, any opinions about a better format and I''m all ears. thx again
