Is Delphi a good option to make an acceptable optimized game? I need to know it cause I''m a Delphi programmer (although I know VC++, VB, and J++), and it would result easy to me to develope my project in Delphi. Thanks.

Hell yeah it''s a good option. If you know and love delphi then use it. here are some links to get you going

http://www.sulaco.co.za/ has some excellent demos
http://delphigl.cfxweb.net/ ditto
http://www.delphi3d.net/ excellent resource, he''s explored almost every option available in opengl

There''s tons more but that''ll get you going. There''s also a sdl port which will make your game cross platform if that''s a consideration (use kylix on the linux side) http://www.delphi-jedi.org/Jedi:TEAM_SDL_HOME:81998
