Hello. I have vertex buffer filled with 1000 points. I also have another vertex buffer filled with 1000 lines. They work ok, the lines and points are drawn ok. But I notice framerate drop. So, could I use "indexbuffer"? What is it? How to use it on such case? What should I fill it with? Which indeces? Thanks for help

Index buffers are used to make use of vertices shared with more than one primitive. For example, if you have a rectangle (which is actually two polygons sharing two of their vertices), you can use index buffers to reduce the number of vertices from 6 to 4. In your case, you can make good use of index buffers if your lines are connected, i.e. if the end of one line is the start of the next line.
