I''ve got a problem with my C++ Builder 5 and Direct X SDK 8.0a. I downloaded some libraries(DDRAW, D3D ...) for it ''cause the microsoft ones don''t work in C++ Builder . But I still can''t find D3DX library. I want to do 2D games with D3D. I need it. Help. Where can I download it???

I''ve converted all DirectX 8.1 Libs for use in c++ builder 5.
There are also some docs explaining how I did it and how you can convert SDK samples to C++ builder 5. There is the source code for wrapper dlls of D3DX8.lib e DXErr8.lib made in visual C++ than "implibbed" in C++ builder.
There are some converted samples I successfully compiled with c++ builder 5.

Be sad man! All these docs and comments are in italian :-)

However you can use it even without any knowledge of italian language.

However you can also point your browser at
http://www.geocities.com/foetsch/ if you need libs for dx 8.0 and not 8.1. There are also some intresting docs (in english) explaining how you can convert dxsdk libs and samples.

Happy new year and happy coding!

Stefano

P.S. Drop me a note if it worked!
