Has anyone here used .md3 models with OpenGL before? If so was it easy enough to implement? How long did it take to get working? Did you get results as good as you were expecting? Ive got an example program for loading and animating the file, which Ive been given permission to use in my game but I was just wondering how hard people have found it using .md3 in there games. Crash, P.s. If this makes no sense, please bear in mind its late and its the 1st Of January 2002 :D "We Must Move Forwards NOT Backwards, Sideways NOT Forwards And Always Twirling Twirling Towards Success." - 2000 "If You Keep Looking Forward Your Gonna End Up Looking Backwards At Yourself Running Sideways!" - 2001

I had no real difficulty with md3 files. All the work is in importing the file itself anyway. If your data structures are so far off that you can''t load a .md3 file into them then you probably need more foundation programming first.

Have a look at http://www.sulaco.co.za/opengl2.htm#md3loader . There is an sample app with source that loads MD3 models.
