Decent STL tutorial?

Recommended Posts

In my program, I need some sort of way of allocating some objects dynamically. I figured STL was the way to go, instead of writing my own linked list. I did a little searching for some tutorials on STL and I came up with not much. Does anyone know of any good STL tutorials? Moe''s site

"Effective STL" Scott Meyers
What to use, when to use it, how to code it, and why.

He assumes that you have an idea of what the STL is and what it''s all about. You can pick-up what you need to know from the examples in the MSDN library @ msdn.microsoft.com. Under something like Tools&Languages->C++ Standard

Also try these links:

http://www.yrl.co.uk/~phil/stl/stl.htmlx
No idea if they''re still valid: no time to check, sorry. Alternatively a search for ''STL tutorial'' on Google is a good bet, as with any question...
