Ne 1 know where i can get the above from and not the 7a version ?? ive looked on the msdn site and its not there ne more

I had trouble find it too. Until someone posted how to get it for me.
You can get it here : http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/
You should look under : Graphics&Multimedia -> Directx -> Directx SDK archives -> choose the SDK you want
