Hello, I have the same post under Game Programming but I then realized perhaps this is the more suited category. Here is my problem. I have several programers that live in various parts of the U.S and are not able to come to our central location to do their work. Instead, they do their work on their home machines and upload their files to the servers. I have a sourcesafe server running and just recently found out that apparently there is a way to connect to the server from via the internet. I have no idea how to do this except buying the program SourceOFFSite which is quite expensive. If you guys have ANY suggestions as to how I may do this, please tell me Thanks, Shaun Seckman

I''ve been through 3 source control packages at work, and cannot recommend CVS enough. It''s free, and once you get a server up anyone (with an account) can access it over TCP/IP.
