I have my FPS control set up very nicely: my view moves with the mouse, and I can go forward/back and strafe with the regular w/s/a/d keys. The mouse movements are perfectly smooth. Here''s the problem. If I hold down a key, any key, even a key that I''m not doing anything with, and move the mouse at the same time, everything gets very stuttery. I assume this has something to do with the keyboard buffer. I am working on WinNT. Thanks!

Well I partially solved it.

What I did was go to my Control Panel, and set the keyboard "repeat" to as slow as possible.

This must be due to the fact that in Windows NT, you cannot set the keyboard to EXCLUSIVE. Still, there must be a better solution than this!
