Non-Rigid body physics

I''m very familiar with rigid body physics, but how/where can i find out about non-rigid body physics which include things such as deformation, absorbtion, etc? ----------------------------- The sad thing about artificial intelligence is that it lacks artifice and therefore intelligence.

Jeff Lander wrote a few articles for Game Developer Magazine that describe some basic techniques related to soft body dynamics. The articles called "Bouncy, Trouncy, Fun" (and earlier articles) and "Devil in the Blue-Faceted Dress: Real-Time Cloth Animation" might give you a decent start. See them here:
