Getting rid of dos window when using GLUT

How do you get rid of the dos command window when using glut, i heard it can be done with a compiler flag but i dont know any more than that. any one know? "Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

1) It''s not a DOS window. It''s a Win32 Console.
2) I found this here:

If you''re using MinGW or Cygwin (I suggest MinGW tho)..

gcc -O2 -m486 -mwindows -o pong pong.c -lopengl32 -lglu32 -lglut32
