Beancrate

desaturated maps, dark shadows, and no alphas

I''m starting to put my models into the engine and notice that the texture maps are very desaturated and that most of the models are shadowed in black. I have also had no luck getting the alpha maps to work on the models. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks

Change the color slider bars to change the saturation, you also might want to try simply using the TEXTURED render method so that they are full strength.

Also, if you have an image with an alpha map (TGA or DDS), you have to use the render methods that begin with X, for example XTEXTURED.
