Problems creating a little 10x10 tiled map in 3d.

My current project is a Pipe Mania/ Pipe Dream game in 3d. I have a grid of 10x10 blocks (like in the original) but I want this blocks to be terrain tiles (different block meshes are pregenerated in max), so, I can create little terrain maps by joining them (like in 2d). the thing is, is there any method to join different meshes without but avoiding the cracks around the unions? (this is because tiles have different heights). Note: I need to do this dinamically because I can replace map tiles with new ones (by setting pipes). Perhaps the way I want to do things is not the correct one, could anyone make any suggestion? Thnx in Advance. HexDump. PD. my english is not the best :/ sorry.
