Jittery Motion

Hi, At lower frame rates (<35fps) camera movement in my bsp based renderer becomes jerky and jittery. I''ve cut out everything else so that all I have is static geometry with a free roaming camera. When strafing or rotating the image ''jitters'' - there is a ghosting effect where it appears that two renders are visible simultaneously. While making all movement (including rotations) time-based was effective in standardising apparent velocity across frame rates - it failed to correct the jitter. Does anyone have any ideas on possible causes of jitter? Thanks.

Cheers, but it''s not a vsync thing. It''s a motion jitter. It''s the kind of effect you would get if you had the camera following an entitity and the entity movement code was in between the static geometry drawing and the entity drawing - if that makes any sense It''s like a lag.

I thought it might be the frame-rate jumping about a bit, so I locked the fps to 30fps which it maintains. But the jitter is just as apparent.

I dunno. It''s probably something fairly obvious, but I can''t see it
