OpenGL OpenGL lighting question...

hi, there again! i know, that by default, light sources illuminate each object, but i want to make a room in which each wall has neon lights that illuminate only the wall that they are on. how can i do this, should i use spot lights? and how can i exceed the 8 lights per hardware limit? or should i use my own static light renderer?

Do a search for "lightmapping". In a nutshell, you create a texture representing the area illuminated by the light, and multitexture it onto the wall.
