www.wixner.net and download version 0.07 of the W3DEngine. However, there seems to be some bugs because on some systems there''ll be only 1-20 fps (I''ve got 1500)

i hate to see topics: ''try my code, try my demo, try my ass''

I hate people who flame like that.

I hate seeing letters produced by you on this forum and any other place.

Of course the 2nd thing is not meant, but I just want to show you how annoying such a message is. If you don''t want to see those topics, leave the forums and go do something else.

Uhhhhhh, for my results

Steady 45 fp/s on a Pentium III 650 Mhz with 128 mb ram and a TnT2 M64 with 32 mb videomemory. This computer is really low performance, it only gets 1000 points on the 3Dmark score...

So it goes quite fast.

It looks great by the way!

Celeron 1.2ghz, 256meg ram, 64meg GeForce3

Seems you could optimize quite a bit, Ive had my fps go higher in Quake3 (on highest detail)

AMD Athlon 900
ATI Radeon 64 DDR
256 MB RAM

Framerate: around 600. it moved so damn fast I couldn't tell exactly but it's high fives for sure.

- Mike

EDIT: after looking over the posts with people with even faster computers than mine but much lower fps i thought maybe nobody would believe it. Here's a screenshot.

Oh yeah, and it's on Win2k. Gotta love these Radeon 64's. Cheap as hell yet great performance.

Steady 400 FPS

PII 350, GeForce 256 DDR, 512 MB PC100, Abit MB, W2K

Frankly I'm amazed at the varying framerates. I've one of the slowest CPU/GPU combinations, and yet a very respectable framerate1 Go figure.

One thing (as I said in a previous post) are any of you running messenger services in the task bar? These can account for the very choppy FPS. Particularly Yahoo and MSN. These both hammer the system all the time checking for a internet connection. Try unloading them if that is the case.

Hmm yes I was running several apps at the time of running it. ICQ, MSN, mirc, IE6, Stat''n''Perf, sygate personal firewall, intellipoint, several system services, a couple explorer windows, winamp, etc. Q3a does a similar framerate with all those running though
