How do I use Transparency ?

just set the RGBA vertex color before rendering the shape.


glColor4f(1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f, transparentvalue);

decrease transparantvalue with a certain number every frame, this makes it fade out...

Of course you need to know when to let it fade out and when to stop changing the transparency (when the object has disappeared)
